Master Therm, a Czech heat pump manufacturer based in Jablonec nad Jizerou, is proud to announce that our complete range of air-to-water heat pumps BoxAir Inverter P using natural refrigerant R290 has officially received the Heat Pump Keymark certification – a key quality assurance label recognized not only in Europe, but worldwide. This milestone confirms our position among the leading innovators in sustainable HVAC technology.
Developed and Manufactured in the Czech Republic
At Master Therm, all development and production takes place in the Czech Republic, giving us full control over quality, design, and technological progress. Over the years, we've been among the first manufacturers in Europe to bring R290 heat pumps into serial production—covering both air-to-water and ground-to-water systems.
Why Heat Pump Keymark Certification Matters
The Heat Pump Keymark is an independent certification that confirms compliance with European standards for performance, energy efficiency, and product quality. It is widely accepted not only across the EU but also internationally, making it an essential credential for market access and public funding eligibility.
With this certification, Master Therm’s R290 air-to-water range is now officially recognized for subsidy programs across Europe—and trusted globally as a reliable, high-performance solution.

Complete Range. Exceptionally Quiet. Uniquely Versatile.
Master Therm now offers a fully certified R290 air-to-water range BoxAir Inverter P from 5 to 50 kW at A7W35, suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Every unit is designed for exceptionally quiet operation—and in the 50 kW power class, we are likely the quietest R290 solution on the market.
Ground-to-Water Heat Pumps Certification Coming Soon
And the innovation continues. In just a few weeks, Master Therm expects to receive Heat Pump Keymark certification for our R290 ground-to-water AquaMaster Inverter P heat pump range. This will be another industry milestone—today, only a few manufacturers in Europe offer R290 ground-source systems above 20 kW. Master Therm pushes that boundary with units up to 70 kW at B0W35.
What This Means for Partners and Clients
This achievement highlights Master Therm’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and climate-friendly technologies. For our clients and partners, it means access to one of Europe’s most advanced R290 product lines—fully certified, subsidy-eligible, and proudly made in Jablonec nad Jizerou.
